Dancing the Psalms and Songs of Creation
Sacred Dance Workshop at St. Andrew's Abbey
 July 19- July 21

[The Creator Spirit]
is Life, movement.... [making] dry twigs and withered souls green again with the juice of life...
[playing] music in the soul, being the melody of praise and joy...
awakening mighty hope, blowing everywhere the winds of renewal in creation.
 [Hildegaard of Bingen]

Join dancers, musicians, artists, liturgists, and poets of faith to dance and sing ancient psalms and contemporary songs that call us to creativity and prayer. Our work will remind us of our unity with all of Creation; will help us recharge our energies and commitment to renew the face of the earth.

In the spirit of "Laudato Si," songs and dances will be offered in thanksgiving and praise for God's Sacred Creation and our kinship with it. The days are full of dance, prayer, reflection, and fellowship. Participants will have the opportunity to offer the work of their days in a beautiful outdoor setting of St. Andrew’s Abbey. Bring comfortable clothes to explore nature and to move with ease.

Lodging: $275 single room; $220 each shared room *Price includes meals.

The work and prayer of sacred dance will provide participants the preliminary steps toward knowing one's true self and walking on an individual path toward spiritual wholeness with all Creation. Join dancers, musicians, artists, liturgists, and poets of faith to voice, dance and step into new ways of creativity and prayer. Our work will help us recharge our energies and commitment to personal and global renewal.
